Job Summary

Own the Brixton BID marketing engine across place marketing, partnerships, and content to elevate Brixton’s identity and drive stakeholder engagement.

  • Lead ownership of annual strategy and seasonal campaigns across digital, print, and events to attract visitors, retailers, and partners.
  • Manage brand consistency, content creation, and CRM communications to levy-paying businesses and stakeholders.
  • Build partnerships, sponsorships, and PR opportunities to raise Brixton's profile and activate placemaking initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Brixton BID's annual marketing strategy and campaign plans.
  • Promote Brixton as a leading destination for retail, hospitality, culture, leisure and business.
  • Manage all digital marketing channels including website, email marketing and social media.
  • Deliver seasonal campaigns, placemaking initiatives and destination marketing projects.
  • Monitor campaign performance through analytics, reporting and audience insights.
  • Manage marketing budgets and external suppliers where required.
  • Identify opportunities for partnership marketing and sponsorship activity.
  • Maintain and evolve the Brixton BID brand across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Design and produce marketing collateral including digital assets, presentations, reports, signage and promotional materials.
  • Manage creative production for campaigns, events and public realm projects.

Requirements

  • Marketing management experience, ideally in place marketing, destination management, culture, retail, hospitality or regeneration.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Graphic design capability using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
  • Experience managing websites, email marketing and social media platforms.
  • Event marketing and event delivery experience.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a small, fast-paced team.
  • Proactive, creative, and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams
