Job Summary

Own end-to-end event led marketing and guest experience, owning channel mix, partnerships, and revenue opportunities while driving continuous improvement through feedback and market signals.

  • Event strategy and execution across multi-channel promotion to maximise attendance and guest engagement.
  • Upsell during events and manage budgets, vendor coordination, and cost control.
  • Partner management and community fundraising, tying events to revenue and sponsorship goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our services, facilities, and events across multiple channels.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee a diverse programme of events, ensuring seamless execution from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure event success and maximise guest engagement.
  • Utilise upselling techniques to increase revenue during events and guest interactions.
  • Manage social media platforms, website content, and promotional materials to enhance brand awareness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders for fundraising initiatives.
  • Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve marketing efforts and event offerings.
  • Provide excellent guest services during events to ensure positive experiences that encourage repeat attendance.
  • Content generation

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in upselling within hospitality or related sectors such as restaurants or hotels
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across departments while maintaining attention to detail
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities

Preferred

  • Experience in fundraising activities is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of guest services principles within the hospitality industry is advantageous.
