Job Summary

Own and scale The Salad Project’s marketing across Europe by leading brand strategy, campaigns, content, growth, site launches, and international expansion while building a high-performing multi-market team.

  • Own the brand, campaigns, and content strategy and drive ROI across channels.
  • Lead go-to-market for new openings and Paris/European rollout, including team leadership and budget management.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Brand partnerships: Set the ambition and direction for partnerships that elevate The Salad Project into a cultural leader in Europe.
  • Brand-owned campaigns: Own the ambition and the creative bar for our own campaigns; direct the work and hold the team to high ideas.
  • Brand and content: Set the brand vision, positioning and tone; direct the social, content, PR and storytelling agenda.
  • Growth and performance: Own the commercial targets across the full acquisition and retention funnel; build the reporting rhythm for ROI and channel performance.
  • New site launches: Own the go-to-market strategy for every new opening and carry accountability for footfall from day one.
  • International expansion: Own the marketing strategy for Paris and the European rollout; build and manage local marketing teams; unify brand and marketing function across markets.
  • Team leadership: Lead a team of five; set the vision, own the budget, structure the team for scale, and develop people in it.

Requirements

  • Experience: A substantial track record of leading and managing a marketing team, with clear evidence of building brand and delivering measurable commercial growth.
  • Sector background: Consumer brands, ideally in fitness, wellness, fashion or tech. Hospitality is very welcome too.
  • Challenger mindset: You think like a challenger, not an incumbent. You compete on ideas, speed and distinctiveness, and you are drawn to brands punching above their weight rather than defending a position.
  • Marketing leadership: Proven ability to lead teams across both brand and performance. Comfortable owning a P&L, working with data, and reporting to a board or founders.
  • Multi-market: Experience launching or scaling across multiple locations, ideally internationally. Comfortable managing teams across geographies.
  • European outlook: At home across the continent, fluent in its cultures and consumers, and excited to build a brand across them.
  • Brand instinct without ego: A genuine feel for culture, lifestyle and how great brands live in people's everyday lives.
  • Founder mindset: Entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, and built for a fast-moving, high-ambition, founder-led business.
