Job Summary

Own Scotland OU comms and social presence with an internal collaboration loop to central marketing, measured by engagement and reach, while keeping content fresh and compliant.

  • Social channel ownership: plan, post, respond, and escalate when needed.
  • Cross-team alignment: coordinate messaging with OU Marketing & Communications to keep Scotland content synchronized.
  • Performance reporting: track key metrics and feed insights into ongoing content optimization and reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day social media management for OU in Scotland, including content creation, scheduling, and responding to comments.
  • Collaborate with central OU Marketing and Communications to keep messaging aligned and content up to date across channels.
  • Track engagement, reach, and web metrics to inform reporting and content optimization.
  • Maintain awareness of best practices across digital platforms and apply them to daily activities.
  • Coordinate with teams to gather information and ensure communications are accurate and aligned.
  • Assist with updating website content using the content management system to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support communications channels including social media and email newsletters.
  • Assist with email communications for campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage shared team inboxes, monitor inquiries, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support monitoring of media coverage and web traffic for reporting and evaluation.
