Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Brand Development Develop and deliver marketing, communications and brand strategies that support the growth and objectives of The Brightstar Collective.
  • Social Media Management - Manage and grow Brightstar’s presence across all relevant social media channels, increasing engagement, reach and brand awareness.
  • Content Creation - Produce high-quality content including graphics, videos, photography, newsletters, case studies and promotional materials.
  • Website Management - Support the design, development and ongoing maintenance of Brightstar websites, ensuring content remains current, engaging and aligned with the organisation’s objectives.
  • Analytics & Reporting - Monitor website traffic, social media engagement, campaign performance and audience growth across all platforms. Produce regular reports and insights for the Senior Leadership Team, using data to improve engagement, reach, referrals and brand awareness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and community engagement through analysis and audience insight.
  • Geographical Expansion - Support the promotion of Brightstar across existing and new geographical areas, helping to build awareness and generate referrals, partnerships and opportunities.
  • Media & Public Relations - Build and maintain relationships with local and national media, PR contacts and journalists to secure positive coverage and profile opportunities.
  • Press & Campaigns - Coordinate press releases, media opportunities and integrated promotional campaigns to showcase Brightstar’s impact and achievements.
  • Impact Storytelling - Capture and share compelling stories, testimonials and case studies that demonstrate the positive outcomes achieved with young people and communities.

Requirements

  • Hours: 17.5 hours per week (42 Weeks)
  • Core hours Monday to Friday between 09:00-16:30 (with flexibility to cover occasional evening & weekend where required)
  • Term-time only
  • Location: Shifnal, Shropshire
  • Travel across West Midlands
