Job Summary

Job Description

Own local marketing impact for a specific area by delivering campaigns across channels, safeguarding brand identity, and driving local revenue through partnerships and events.

  • Act as a key marketing partner to the General Manager for your area
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns tailored to your local market and audience across all channels including digital and social media, owned and paid and direct mail.
  • Build strong relationships with local business groups, networks, and partners

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key marketing partner to the General Manager for your area
  • Support the delivery of local commercial objectives through targeted marketing activity
  • Align marketing activity to business priorities and revenue opportunities
  • Provide insight and feedback from your area to inform wider marketing direction
  • Act as a gatekeeper for brand identity across the group, owning signage, point-of-sale materials, and the guest and visitor welcome experience.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns tailored to your local market and audience across all channels including digital and social media, owned and paid and direct mail.
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand, messaging, and commercial priorities
  • Identify opportunities to drive footfall, engagement, and revenue within your area
  • Work at pace to deliver high-quality, effective marketing activity
  • Build strong relationships with local business groups, networks, and partners
  • Drive and develop PR activity to enhance brand awareness
  • Identify and develop opportunities for collaboration, co-promotion, and local visibility
  • Represent the business within the local community to enhance brand presence
  • Identify, apply for, and secure local business grants, typically under £10,000, where these support agreed local marketing or commercial priorities.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to maximise funding opportunities
  • Ensure successful utilisation and reporting of grant-funded activity
  • Work with SLT on more substantial grant applications
  • Support the planning and delivery of events within your area
  • Drive attendance, engagement, and commercial return from events
  • Ensure events are well-executed, on-brand, and aligned to business objectives
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure continuity of marketing delivery

Requirements

  • Experience in a marketing role with strong executional capability
  • Experience across multiple channel execution, ideally including print, digital and website, social media and direct mail
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of how marketing drives revenue
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different functions or locations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in event delivery and/or local marketing activity
  • Awareness of local funding or grant opportunities (desirable)
  • Key Traits: Proactive and self-starting
  • Key Traits: Highly organised with strong attention to detail
