Job Summary

Own diary and calendar management for the Managing Director while coordinating marketing activity and ensuring a premium client experience, all in service of an efficient, high-visibility leadership schedule.

  • Diary & calendar management: Maintain the MD’s calendar with discretion, prioritising meetings and deadlines and prepping materials in advance.
  • Marketing and social media coordination: Help plan campaigns, schedule content, track performance, and ensure messaging stays on tone with the firm’s objectives.
  • Client experience support: Direct inquiries professionally and uphold a consistently high standard of client care across touchpoints.

Job Description

Own the MD's diary and calendar with precision, keep the schedule efficient, and prepare materials to keep the day moving smoothly.

  • Diary and priority management for MD: Manage the Managing Director’s diary with accuracy, discretion and attention to detail; Prioritise meetings, appointments, events and deadlines to ensure an efficient and well-organised schedule; Anticipate daily requirements and prepare supporting documents, information and materials in advance to enable the Managing Director to work effectively
  • Marketing and social media: Assisting with campaign coordination, content planning and promotional activity; Planning and scheduling social media content to maintain a consistent and professional online presence; Tracking marketing statistics and performance data to identify trends and opportunities; Monitoring engagement across social platforms and highlighting areas for improvement or increased visibility; Reviewing external messaging to ensure all marketing and social media content aligns with the firm’s tone, values and objectives; Supporting the coordination of content for PR events, announcements and firm updates to strengthen audience engagement; Maintaining a social and networking calendar, including PR events, to support consistent engagement
  • Client experience support: Managing incoming calls professionally and directing enquiries appropriately on behalf of the MD; Providing a flawless, exclusive client experience at every stage of contact; Supporting the firm’s commitment to a consistently high standard of client care
  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Marketing or Business (or related degree), with marketing included as a feature of the degree OR equivalent experience in a professional marketing role
  • 1 year experience in a similar role (including a year in industry as part of your degree)
  • Proven experience in marketing (including data analysis), social media and business development
  • Proven experience in working with senior leadership
  • Familiarity with client service in a professional or legal setting
  • Strong academic background with high levels of literacy and numeracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a professional environment
  • Proactive, dependable and eager to contribute to the firm’s growth
  • Confident, polished and personable manner
  • Tech-savvy approach and confidence using digital tools and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong CRM and data management skills
  • Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
