Job Summary

Own a broad marketing assistant remit across campaign execution, copy, content and channel maintenance, with hands-on support for events and customer interactions.

  • Campaign execution and copy: help define, implement, and refine campaigns and persuasive material across newsletters, adverts, and marketing assets.
  • Content and channels: maintain Osprey/Bloomsbury sites and social channels, ensuring engaging content and audience interaction.
  • Events and operations: support events in the UK and abroad and handle in-house marketing admin and inquiries.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to help to create and implement marketing campaigns to drive sales, maximise profit and maintain strong brand awareness.
  • Writing engaging and persuasive marketing copy for use across newsletters, adverts and other marketing materials.
  • Maintain, monitor and create engaging content on the Osprey and Bloomsbury websites and our social media channels.
  • Managing and developing relationships with print and online reviewers.
  • Providing in-house customer support for website, phone and mail and social media enquiries.
  • Assisting with organising and attending events in the UK and abroad.
  • Providing general administrative support for the marketing department, as well as other marketing related tasks.

Requirements

  • Have excellent communication and time-management skills;
  • Be self-motivated with a calm, professional approach, and able to work on their own initiative;
  • Be numerate and computer-literate, with a sharp eye for detail;
  • Be resourceful and proactive in dealing with problems and queries;
  • Have a good grasp of social media and an interest in the digital marketing landscape;
