Job Summary

Own the data backbone for marketing, turning data into trusted, scalable insights and dashboards that drive commercial decisions across multiple brands and markets.

  • Data Foundation: Own marketing data structures across GA4, CRM, media, and internal environments to ensure scalable, trusted data that supports business decisions.
  • Measurement & Governance: Define tracking standards and governance to keep data consistent and credible for reporting and analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Data teams to improve data accessibility and decision speed.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the marketing data foundation across platforms including GA4, CRM systems, media platforms, and internal data environments, ensuring scalable, trusted, and commercially relevant data structures across the organisation
  • Define and maintain tracking standards, measurement frameworks, and data governance processes to ensure consistency and trust in marketing data
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Data teams to improve data accessibility and support better decision-making
  • Identify data gaps, tracking issues, and measurement inconsistencies, proactively driving solutions that improve data quality and reporting accuracy
  • Build and optimise reporting structures and dashboards that enable stakeholders to monitor marketing effectiveness and commercial performance
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable outputs that help teams identify opportunities and optimise performance
  • Support the development of scalable analytics capabilities that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and commercial outcomes across the organisation
  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing analytics processes, tools, AI-enabled capabilities, and ways of working to improve efficiency, scalability, and confidence in marketing data
  • Act as the subject matter expert on marketing database structures, ensuring scalable, efficient, and commercially relevant use of marketing data across reporting, analytics, and modelling initiatives
  • Own and maintain marketing data models, definitions, and governance standards to ensure consistent, trusted, and commercially relevant use of marketing data across the organisation

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with marketing analytics, data management, and performance measurement
  • Expert-level SQL expertise with the ability to interrogate, model, and optimise large-scale marketing datasets and marketing database structures across the organisation
  • Hands-on expertise with platforms such as GA4, CRM systems, media platforms, reporting/visualisation tools, and complex marketing databases
  • A strong understanding of tracking, attribution, data governance, and measurement frameworks
  • The ability to translate technical concepts into clear, commercially relevant insights for stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured, analytical mindset
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to working across teams and driving change
  • Experience improving data quality, accessibility, and reporting processes in a complex business environment
