Job Summary

Own the marketing and admissions engine for Lyndhurst School, coordinating brand, campaigns, events, and content to drive awareness and pupil intake across digital, print, and open-day programs.

  • Brand and campaigns: evolve the school’s identity and run targeted campaigns across social, print, and local partnerships.
  • Community and events: plan open days, tours, and taster events while engaging families and coordinators.
  • Content and partnerships: create school-life content, coordinate GDPR-compliant event photography, and nurture relationships with nursery providers and prospective families.

Job Description

Lead on promotional strategy Manage the school website and digital presence Coordinate events Oversee the full admissions journey with warmth and professionalism Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness and pupil admissions Design and run targeted marketing campaigns, including social media and print Create content that showcases school life, events, and pupil achievements Uphold and evolve the School’s brand identity across all marketing materials Produce school publications including posters, banners, leaflets, videos, newsletters, and certificates Promote the School to local nursery providers and other relevant partners Capture (or coordinate the capturing of) event photography in line with GDPR and parental consent Attend and support school open events, fairs, taster days, and pupil recruitment activities Oversee and manage the school’s marketing budget Take responsibility for the ongoing development, accuracy, and visual impact of the school website (WordPress experience advantageous) Requirements: Experience in marketing, with a strong understanding of branding, social media, and community engagement Confident managing the school’s online presence, including Meta and Google advertising, social media platforms, WordPress, and website content updates Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and prospective families Experience coordinating admissions communications and data (using HUBMis) Ability to plan and organise Open Days and school tour events Strong organisational skills with ability to manage varied workload Experience with EY grants and liaising with Bursar on registered pupils Nice_to_have: Wordpress experience advantageous Creative, enthusiastic, and full of ideas with strong technical and visual skills Experience in marketing with branding, social media, and community engagement Benefits: Longer holidays (17 weeks!)
