Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provides creative guidance and oversight across all client work, with specific accountability for WEA, North America and IBG production outputs.
  • Safeguards creative standards, ensuring all production assets align with global brand strategy, toolkits and visual identity guidelines.
  • Translates creative agency ideas into production-ready creative outputs that retain intent while being optimised for scale, localisation and automation.
  • Acts as the final creative escalation point for quality, craft and design consistency across the production ecosystem.
  • Serves as the go-to global contact for all creative guidance related to production across multiple formats (Motion & VFX, digital, retail assets/POS).
  • Establishes and maintains clear creative production governance across agencies, production teams and WPP Co.LAB hub teams.
  • Provides structured guidance to Client Services teams on complex and specialist formats, including the creation of visual guides that support understanding of the retail environment and in-market application.
  • Ensures creative decision-making supports agreed ways of working, defined scope boundaries and global consistency.
  • Sets up and leads regular weekly creative sessions with the Manila, Mexico and Europe hub teams to guide them through brand standards, guidelines and design consistency expectations.
  • Facilitates quarterly global creative reviews to reflect on learnings, share best practice, innovation and review real examples of work across markets and formats.
  • Works in close partnership with creative agencies (e.g. Ogilvy, VML, Landor and others), WPP Co.LAB and specialist teams to enable aligned, joined-up creative production output delivery.
  • Acts as a trusted senior creative production partner to global and regional stakeholders, fostering confidence, clarity and collaboration.
  • Partners closely with the Global Production Director and Studio Leads to balance creative ambition with production realities, timings and budgets.
  • Supports the transition from master asset creation into creative asset amplification, adaptation and always-on content models.
  • Ensures production outputs are feasible, efficient and high-quality across multiple markets, channels and formats.
  • Guides teams through complex or high-risk projects to protect creative integrity at scale.
  • Supports creative solutions that deliver against client objectives while fitting within agreed budgets.
  • Works closely with Client Directors to ensure creative ambition aligns with commercial frameworks, protecting margins and contractual commitments.
  • Contributes to solutions and decisions around scope, effort and production approach to avoid inefficiency, rework or scope creep (e.g. modular design).
  • Ensures creative production quality and innovation are delivered in a commercially sustainable way.
