Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the EMEA events strategy across Laurel-hosted experiences (executive dinners, roundtables, roadshows) and third-party conferences and trade shows in the professional services industry
  • Design and execute high-impact, time-respectful experiences—every minute must deliver value for attendees, reflecting Laurel's brand and mission
  • Build and manage pre/during/post event playbooks localized for European markets, including automated email cadences and personalized sales outreach coordination
  • Partner with EMEA account executives to drive attendance, reduce no-shows, and ensure thoughtful follow-up that converts event engagement into pipeline
  • Track event performance rigorously: pipeline contribution, deal acceleration, cost per attendee, and influenced ARR
  • Scale the events program across EMEA as Laurel expands beyond the UK
  • Demand Generation & Digital Programs (20%)
  • Develop and execute localized demand generation campaigns across digital channels including LinkedIn Ads, email marketing, and industry publications targeting EMEA professional services firms
  • Drive account-based marketing (ABM) strategy for high-value EMEA enterprise accounts, coordinating multi-channel outreach with the sales team
  • Build and optimize nurture sequences tailored to European buyer journeys and the complex decision-making processes of professional services firms (90–180-day sales cycles)

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing with a blend of demand generation, events, and/or field marketing—ideally in professional services, legal tech, accounting software, or B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful events that drive measurable pipeline growth, from intimate executive dinners to larger-format conferences
  • Hands-on experience with digital demand generation channels (LinkedIn Ads, email marketing, paid media) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with a demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions based on performance data and tie marketing activities back to revenue
  • Experience building or refining event playbooks (pre/during/post) and coordinating cross-functionally with sales teams to maximize impact
  • Deep familiarity with European business norms, professional services buying committees, and complex enterprise decision-making processes
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a builder's mindset—you've operated in environments where you're figuring out the motion as you go
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategy and execution for enterprise sales cycles
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and attribution modeling
  • Strong project management skills—able to run multiple events and campaigns simultaneously across time zones

Preferred

  • Experience marketing to law firms, accounting firms, or management consultancies in Europe
  • Background in building community programs (peer roundtables, user groups, champion networks)
  • Fluency in an additional European language (French, German, or another) alongside English
  • Experience managing agencies or outsourced logistics teams for event execution
  • Familiarity with professional services billing, time tracking, or productivity workflows
  • Comfort with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for scaling marketing output

Benefits

  • To date, we've secured significant funding from renowned venture capitalists (Google Ventures, IVP, Anthos, Upfront Ventures), as well as notable individuals like Marc Benioff, Gokul Rajaram, Kevin Weil, and Alexis Ohanian
  • A smart, fun, collaborative, and inclusive team
  • Great employee benefits, including equity and 401K
  • Bi-annual, in-person company off-sites, in unique locations
  • An opportunity to perform at your best while growing, making a meaningful impact on the company's trajectory, and embodying our core values
