Own city-wide marketing and communications for a major event, coordinating high profile campaigns and stakeholder engagement to reach residents, visitors, and businesses.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • lead the city’s commercial protection, marketing strategy, and communications for UEFA EURO 2028 programme
  • develop and deliver a city-wide marketing and communications plan, engaging residents, visitors, businesses, and stakeholders
  • coordinating high-profile campaigns
  • managing operational communications during live events
  • leading responses to emerging issues in a fast-paced environment
  • working across council services and with key partners
  • support event delivery
  • oversee city dressing and wayfinding
  • ensure consistent, high-quality messaging

Requirements

  • experience in marketing, communications, or commercial management within large-scale events
  • significant experience in marketing, communications, or commercial management within large-scale events
  • strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities
