Job Summary

Own the end-to-end email marketing lifecycle for student recruitment and engagement, turning audience data into personalised journeys while upholding GDPR and accessibility standards to drive engagement and conversions.

  • Campaign ownership: plan, deliver, analyse and optimise email programs across segments and journeys.
  • Audience & automation: manage segmentation, journeys, QA, and GDPR-compliant practices with the CRM and automation stack.
  • Collaboration & analytics: partner with marketing and CRM/System teams to translate data into actionable improvements and test-driven optimisation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver targeted email campaigns that support student recruitment, engagement, and retention
  • Use CRM systems (Salesforce/Comm Planner) to segment audiences and build personalised email journeys
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop compelling, audience-focused content
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide insights to improve engagement and conversion
  • Run A/B tests to optimise subject lines, content, and send strategies
  • Work with the CRM and Systems team to maintain data quality and effective automation workflows
  • Ensure all communications follow GDPR and best practice in email accessibility and design
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising colleagues on effective email marketing approaches

Requirements

  • Experience planning, delivering, and analysing email marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and audience segmentation
  • A degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Attention to detail, particularly in QA and proofreading
  • Understanding of email best practice, including accessibility and optimisation
