Job Summary

Own the day to day digital content engine for a London based editorial marketing function, balancing web, email, social and podcast workflows to keep content fresh, on brand and moving audience metrics.

  • Content operations: manage the website, newsletters, and social channels to keep content current and cohesive.
  • Production orchestration: track editorial progress, coordinate contributors, editors, designers, and deadlines.
  • Campaign support and analytics: back digital campaigns, events, podcasts, and produce regular insights to steer where to focus next.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Managing and updating The Beautiful Truth website, including uploading new content and keeping pages current.
  • Planning, building and sending newsletters, including The Edit and the monthly TBT newsletter.
  • Creating and scheduling social media content for Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Supporting digital campaigns and promotional activity, including events, livestreams, podcasts and new editorial content.
  • Helping manage editorial and production workflows, including tracking article progress, liaising with contributors, editors, sub-editors and designers, and supporting deadlines.
  • Supporting podcast production and promotion, including tracking episode status and coordinating content across web, newsletter and social.
  • Creating or sourcing digital assets and images, and helping to keep templates, folders and systems organised.
  • Producing regular reporting and insights to help the team understand what is working and where to focus next.

Requirements

  • strong project-management skills
  • good editorial judgement
  • eye for brand consistency
  • comfortable writing, editing and adapting copy for different channels
  • comfortable uploading and proofreading articles
  • able to build newsletters and social content
  • London-based or able to work from East London office at least one day a week

Preferred

  • strong project-management skills
  • experience with podcast production
  • experience coordinating campaigns
  • comfort with digital tools and learning new systems
