Job Summary

Own and coordinate UKLA communications and digital presence across asset design, website management, social campaigns, and monthly newsletter to ensure consistent branding and audience engagement.

  • Responsibilities: own multi-channel communications, website upkeep, content sourcing, and event material production.
  • Social and content strategy: develop campaigns, tailor posts for platforms, and drive audience interaction and analytics.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: align with trustees, partners, and committees to communicate activity and respond to sector developments.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce communications assets for UKLA activities, align with branding, and execute promotional campaigns across social platforms and Mailchimp with audience analytics.
  • Maintain and develop the UKLA website, update copy, create new pages, produce sign-up forms, manage event responses, and support Awards applications.
  • Collaborate with trustees, partners, and committees to communicate UKLA activity and events to the public.
  • Produce physical assets for events and promotions, convert PowerPoints to branded formats, and ensure brand guideline compliance.
  • Grow UKLA’s social presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Facebook, including post creation, scheduling, partner engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Develop innovative social campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and independent initiatives.
  • Own the UKLA monthly newsletter The Debrief from content gathering to design and distribution.
  • Coordinate timely responses to sector developments with key UKLA members and monitor media issues.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a team and in a timely manner
  • Ability to be proactive, to work independently and to manage areas of responsibility effectively
  • Good organisational skills
  • High standard of oral and written communication skills
  • A good eye for detail
  • Skills in maintaining, updating and managing websites
  • Social media management knowledge e.g. with Instagram/Bluesky/LinkedIn and other platforms
  • An understanding of diversity and equality in digital communications

Preferred

  • Desirable: knowledge of developing professional relationships with partners and other relevant external bodies
  • Desirable: graphical design skills, including experience of using relevant software, e.g. Canva and WordPress
