Job Summary

Own the department’s digital narrative and channel mix, turning complex policy ideas into clear stories for students and academics while maintaining accessible, SEO-aware properties across websites and social.

  • Audience & UX: Translate ideas for diverse audiences and manage CMS, SEO, accessibility, and UX constraints.
  • Operations: Oversee websites and social channels, juggling priorities in a fast-paced academic setting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver digital communications in the Department of Politics and International Studies.
  • Develop the Department’s digital communications strategy and plan, create and deliver content across a wide range of digital channels.
  • Oversee ownership of websites and social media channels, using analytics to enhance reach, engagement and impact.
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content for audiences from prospective students to academic stakeholders.
  • Work with CMS platforms and apply understanding of AEO/SEO, accessibility and user experience.
  • Be organized, delivery-focused and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
