Job Description

Apprentify Group is seeking a commercially driven CRM & Email Marketing Manager to lead our customer relationship management platforms and email marketing strategy across five brands within the Group. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Director, you will develop and deliver best-in-class CRM campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, retention, and revenue growth. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, while operating in a fast growing business portfolio. We use HubSpot across all organisations for B2B activity, and Magn8 for B2C marketing at Netcom Training. You will oversee segmentation, automation, and personalisation, designing and implementing lifecycle campaigns from lead nurturing to re-engagement. Working closely with marketing and sales teams, you will turn data into insights, optimise performance, and help shape how CRM supports the business. Main Responsibilities - Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM and email marketing strategy aligned with business objectives for all Apprentify Group operating companies. - Own the day-to-day management and optimisation of HubSpot and Magn8 CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy, hygiene, and effective segmentation. - Design and implement email lifecycle programmes, including welcome series, nurture journeys, retention and re-engagement campaigns, and event-triggered communications. - Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Director, Group Head of Marketing, and specialist marketing services (design, data, paid media) to integrate CRM and email marketing into the wider marketing strategy. - Drive database growth through ethical acquisition, enrichment, and engagement tactics, ensuring compliance with GDPR and relevant regulations. - Implement personalisation and dynamic content strategies to increase engagement, conversions, and customer loyalty. - Manage A/B testing programmes for subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times, using insights to optimise performance. - Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to track KPIs, including deliverability, open rates, CTR, conversions, and ROI. - Work closely with sales teams to ensure CRM data supports lead management, qualification, and pipeline conversion. - Oversee integration of CRM with other marketing and business systems to enhance automation, efficiency, and insight generation. - Stay ahead of CRM and email marketing trends, tools, and best practices, applying them to improve results. Job Requirements Essential - 4+ years’ experience in CRM and/or email marketing roles, preferably in B2B, education, or apprenticeship sectors. - Proven track record in planning and executing successful CRM and email campaigns with measurable ROI. - Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Magn8 or similar) and CRM best practices. - Skilled in segmentation, personalisation, automation workflows, and lifecycle marketing. - Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot reporting, Excel). - Solid understanding of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). Desirable - Experience in the apprenticeship, education, or graduate recruitment sectors. - Knowledge of integrating CRM systems with other business platforms. - HTML/CSS knowledge for email template editing and troubleshooting. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. - Experience in database management and enrichment.
