Job Summary

Own SailGP fan engagement campaigns end to end across channels, from planning and automation to data-driven optimization and reporting, with a heavy emphasis on testing, data integration, and cross-team coordination.

  • Campaign execution and optimization across Eloqua and Movable Ink for personalised fan experiences.
  • Own data collection, segmentation, and analytics to drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Campaign Lead and Tech to expand data points and ship digital products that improve fan journeys.

Job Description

  • Campaign Planning, Build and Deployment
  • Design, build, and manage complex multi-channel campaigns (email, web pages, push, in-app, social) using Eloqua’s tools and capabilities
  • Develop and maintain automated campaign workflows to optimise campaign performance and ultimately enhance the fan experience
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify opportunities for optimisation, and implement best practices for campaign deliverability, engagement, sales and segmentation
  • Champion a test and learn approach, ensuring each campaign has a clear objective and clear hypothesis that is being challenged
  • Work closely with the Campaign Manager and wider Fan Engagement team on the outbound comms calendar to ensure campaigns are resourced, planned and built on time
  • Support the implementation and deployment of dynamic content and personalised creative solutions, including Movable Ink experiences, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Campaign Reporting and Recommendations
  • Own the delivery of weekly, monthly and campaign-specific reporting that provides clear performance analysis, audience insights, trend identification and actionable recommendations.
  • Translate campaign and behavioural data into strategic insights that support fan engagement, retention and revenue growth objectives.
  • Extensive experience in campaign deployment role - client or agency side - managing lifecycles and high volume campaigns
  • Experience driving growth (data records and revenue) from a complex database with highly personalised communications
  • Specialist knowledge of marketing technology/automation platforms - eg, Eloqua
  • Specialist knowledge of headless content management systems - eg, Contentful
  • Ability to understand data to drive changes in fan behaviour
  • Able to prioritise workload in a high output environment
  • Able to filter high volumes of information to focus on key insights
  • Specialist knowledge of communication channels - email, push, in-app, web, social
  • Personable with ability to persuade and influence stakeholders
  • Collaborative and influential communicator in-person and virtually
  • Experience using Jira to track responsibilities and CMS updates in product development cycles.
  • Fan-centric mindset (desirable attitude/approach).
  • Awareness and passion for the sports industry.
