Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the Pipeline: Operate, refine, and extend the AI-powered pipeline for topic ideation, draft generation, and publishing content by modifying prompts and AI-generated tools.
  • Produce the Blog: Personally choose subject matter, edit draft images and text for persona, style, and clarity, and manage links, metadata, and publication.
  • Manage the Socials: Using a combination of custom AI tools and manual effort, create and distribute content on Instagram, X, and other social media, and field community interactions.
  • Track Performance: Identify, collect, distill, and present relevant metrics for our blog and social channels.
  • Defend the Brand: Vet and hone all customer-facing language to reflect Sprite’s voice and values.

Requirements

  • Possess Exceptional Writing and Editing Skills: You are a world-class editor with outstanding language skills who can take a good draft (whether written by a human or an AI) and make it truly great. Your portfolio demonstrates this.
  • Are a Systems-Builder: You thrive on creating and operating efficient, repeatable processes. You have experience managing complex editorial calendars or production pipelines and aim to automate everything for scale.
  • Have a Keen Eye for Quality: You have a deep-seated need to produce excellent work and are comfortable being the final judge on what meets Sprite’s standards.
  • Are AI-fluent, not Dependent: You naturally pounce on and master AI tools to build superpowers for yourself, but never to outsource your own responsibility or intellectual labor.
  • Know SEO: You have a working familiarity with standard SEO measurement tools, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Are Proactive and Independent: You are highly autonomous, excel in a hyper-productive, results-oriented remote environment, and look for ways to act effectively without waiting to be told.
