Own and execute social content strategy across TikTok and Instagram, plan calendars, create and schedule posts, collaborate with founders, and monitor performance to drive organic growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Planning and maintaining the content calendars for both social media accounts.
  • Creating and scheduling TikToks, Instagram Reels, posts and Stories.
  • Turning our existing photography and video footage into engaging social media content.
  • Creating graphics and marketing materials using Canva.
  • Occasionally filming product, packaging or behind-the-scenes content.
  • Suggesting original content ideas based on seasons, product launches, customer interests and relevant trends.
  • Writing captions and concise product or promotional copy.
  • Replying to relevant comments and social media messages.
  • Supporting the organic growth of both accounts against agreed targets.
  • Coordinating content with a small number of bespoke clients, including agreeing when collaborative posts should be published and sharing suitable assets.

Requirements

  • Experience creating engaging content for TikTok and/or Instagram.
  • Confidence editing short-form video using CapCut or similar software.
  • Strong written English and copywriting ability.
  • Confidence creating clean, attractive graphics in Canva.
  • A practical understanding of what makes social content perform.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for creative marketing.
  • Formal marketing qualifications are not essential. We care more about your ability, judgement and ideas.

Preferred

  • Experience working with ecommerce, retail or product brands.
  • Experience helping to grow a social media account organically.
  • Experience creating food, drink, lifestyle or gifting content.
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools.
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge and understanding of premium drinks branding.
  • Awareness of UK alcohol marketing rules and responsible drink advertising.
