Job Summary

Owns community engagement and partnership development, delivering marketing activities, and leading a small team to increase patient referrals across GP practices, hospitals, and community organisations.

  • Build and sustain partnerships with community organisations and local businesses.
  • Lead delivery of marketing, communications and referral-increasing activities.
  • Supervise the Digital Marketing Officer and report progress to the MD.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with GP practices, hospitals, health visitors, schools, nurseries and community organisations.
  • Developing partnerships with local businesses and charities.
  • Promoting the charity at networking events, exhibitions and community activities.
  • Organising talks, presentations and awareness events.
  • Helping increase awareness of our services and encouraging patient referrals.
  • Coordinating the delivery of our marketing and communications activities.
  • Line managing and supporting our Digital Marketing Officer.
  • Monitoring marketing activity and reporting progress to the Managing Director.

Requirements

  • Friendly, confident and enjoys meeting new people.
  • An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to use their own initiative.
  • Experienced in community engagement, marketing, communications, business development or partnership working.
  • Comfortable managing projects and supervising staff.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference.
  • Education: Bachelor's (preferred)
  • Experience: Marketing: 2 years (required)
  • Experience: Community engagement: 2 years (required)
  • Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)

Preferred

  • Experience within the charity, healthcare or education sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
