Job Summary

Own local community growth by combining social content, event lead gen, and direct marketing with partners and schools to drive upsell opportunities.

  • Social & Campaigns: Own content creation, posting rhythm, and targeted outreach to generate leads and engagement.
  • Events & Partnerships: Plan open evenings, visit schools, and build local partnerships to feed the funnel.
  • Direct Marketing: Run email programs and direct calls to upsell classes while maintaining parent communication.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media & Online Marketing: Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.); Run targeted online campaigns to generate leads and increase engagement; Monitor and analyse marketing performance to optimise campaigns
  • Events & Lead Generation: Plan and organise open evenings for prospective and current parents; Proactively generate leads by visiting schools, engaging with parents, and building local partnerships; Work closely with the teaching team to ensure event success and smooth parent communication
  • Email & Direct Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns to engage current and potential customers; Develop strategies to upsell additional classes and workshops to existing parents; Pick up the phone and speak directly with parents to explain offerings and answer queries
  • People & Sales Skills: Be confident and articulate in conversations with parents, schools, and community groups; Identify new opportunities for growth, whether through partnerships, events, or outreach; Work on a commission-based model if preferred, with a lower base salary but higher earning potential

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing, events, or sales (preferably in education but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Confident in speaking to parents and schools to promote our services
  • Creative mindset – able to generate marketing ideas and content
  • Organised and proactive – comfortable managing multiple projects
  • A go-getter who is excited about growing our brand and engaging with the community

Preferred

  • Experience in education preferred but not essential
  • Commission-based sales experience is a plus
