Job Summary

Own the day-to-day communications function and shape GHP’s narrative while coordinating with the Senior External Affairs lead to translate programmes into stories for parliamentarians, funders, journalists, and the public.

  • Own day-to-day communications and ensure alignment with advocacy priorities across channels.
  • Oversee digital presence, publications, and content output to support maternal and child health campaigns.
  • Line manage the Digital Marketing Coordinator and maintain quality across day-to-day activity.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead GHP's day-to-day communications function while working closely with the new Senior External Affairs and Communications Lead to translate our programmes and evidence into compelling stories, campaigns, and content that reach parliamentarians, funders, journalists, and the public.
  • Oversee GHP's digital presence, publications, and content output across all channels.
  • Produce communications assets — case studies, media materials, social content, campaign copy — that underpin GHP's advocacy priorities, including the Maternal and Child Health Programme.
  • Line manage the Digital Marketing Coordinator, providing direction and quality assurance across day-to-day communications activity.
