Job Summary

Own and advance the global PR program with a sharp focus on earned media, executive narrative, and AI/LLM visibility to shape Elliptic’s perception in fintech and crypto.

  • PR Leadership: coordinate agency delivery, briefing cadence, and strategy alignment across global beats.
  • Executive Voice: build and manage LinkedIn content, bylines, and a cohesive message house for senior leaders.
  • AI/LLM and Analytics: integrate digital PR with SEO, track LLM visibility and backlinks, and loop insights into content and growth bets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of the PR agency: briefing, prioritization, performance, and keeping delivery on strategy
  • Working with the agency, build and maintain relationships with tier-one journalists across business, crypto, fintech, and payments beats globally
  • Lead earned media activity for major announcements including funding rounds, product launches, research reports, and regulatory developments
  • Monitor competitive PR activity across TRM Labs and Chainalysis and flag implications to the Director of Communications
  • Own PR reporting: coverage quality, share of voice, and digital PR metrics including backlink quality and LLM visibility
  • Digital PR and AI/LLM visibility
  • Incorporate a digital PR strategy designed to improve Elliptic’s visibility in AI/LLM-generated answers, LLM-cited sources, and AI Overviews, not just traditional search
  • Partner with content and SEO to produce stat-rich, citable assets (research, data studies, reports) that earn organic links and AI citations from authoritative publications
  • Partner with content and growth teams who track Elliptic’s presence across LLM platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini) and feed insights back into the PR program where relevant.
  • Executive visibility and thought leadership
  • Working with the Director of Communications and PR Agency, create and manage LinkedIn content programs for key executives (CEO, CSO), including editorial strategy, ghostwriting, cadence management, and engagement monitoring, producing content that sounds authentically like each individual, not like a corporate feed
  • Working with the agency, write and place executive bylines, op-eds, and long-form thought leadership articles in target publications
  • Maintain the executive message house for each priority spokesperson, ensuring consistent narrative across LinkedIn, speaking slots, media interviews, and analyst briefings
  • Identify and manage a pipeline of speaking, podcast, and roundtable opportunities
  • Track and report on executive share of voice, LinkedIn audience growth, engagement quality, and speaking performance; use data to continuously improve the program
  • Identify opportunities for executives to participate in awards programs, advisory boards, and external recognition schemes that build individual and brand credibility
  • Analyst and industry relations
  • The Director of Communications will set the approach; you will run the programme day to day.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with priority analysts and industry influencers: briefings, inquiry responses, and regular contact
  • Coordinate analyst briefing schedules and ensure the right people from product, commercial, and communications are prepared and aligned?

Requirements

  • Operated in a hands-on media relations roles across global markets
  • Demonstrable track record of securing tier-one coverage in financial, technology, and/or regulatory press
  • PR agency background, you understand how agencies work and how to get the most from them
  • Hands-on experience engaging with analysts in a structured way, briefing, inquiry responses, relationship management
  • Experience building or significantly contributing to an AR programme
  • Proven experience developing and managing LinkedIn content programmes for senior executives, ghostwriting, voice capture, and editorial cadence
  • Strong byline writing capability; comfortable working at pace with senior stakeholders
  • Experience building or maintaining executive message houses
  • Understanding of how digital PR influences SEO and LLM visibility, familiar with GEO/LLM concepts
  • Comfortable using AI tools daily to improve speed and quality of output, this could be in your content production, or for research and automation of workflows, but we expect our candidates to demonstrate how AI is part of your daily life.
  • Appetite to stay ahead of how AI changes the communications landscape
  • Background in fintech, regtech, compliance, financial services, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS
  • Proven ability to work across US, EMEA, and APAC media markets
  • Comfort in a complex regulatory environment where accuracy and nuance matter
  • Exceptional written English, able to distil complex technical or regulatory content into clear, compelling narratives
  • Strong editorial judgement: you know a good story, and you know when something is not ready
  • Confident stakeholder management, you can brief and advise C-suite executives, align with product marketing and content, manage agencies simultaneously without losing momentum
  • Data-driven, you use coverage metrics, SOV, LLM visibility, backlink quality, and LinkedIn engagement to evaluate performance, not just clip counts
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills; comfortable running multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment
  • Curious and proactive, you actively track industry developments, competitive moves, and the evolving PR/AI landscape
  • Experience of working with Govt lobbying agencies
  • Experience in the crypto, blockchain, or digital assets sector
  • Understanding of AML, financial crime compliance, or crypto regulation
  • Experience working alongside or briefing government affairs or policy teams
