Job Summary

Own the property practice’s growth engine by prioritising sectors, markets and clients and aligning leadership, investment and resources to win profitable work and raise visibility.

  • Growth ownership: set prioritisation, coordinate strategy with senior partners, and drive market visibility in property and built environment workstreams.
  • Strategy & stakeholder management: collaborate with the Global Director of BD, Groups & Sectors and Group Lead Partner to shape and deliver the marketing and BD plan and deepen client relationships.
  • Profile & horizon scanning: demonstrate leadership in opportunity spotting, proactive opportunities, and compelling written communications to win new work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prioritise sectors, markets, geographies and clients with the strongest opportunity to drive sustainable growth.
  • Align leadership focus, investment and resources against these priorities to maximise impact and competitiveness.
  • Shape and deliver a marketing and business development strategy for the Property practice, working with the Global Director of Business Development, Groups & Sectors and the Group Lead Partner to win profitable work, deepen client relationships, and raise market visibility and differentiation.
  • Position the role to be based in central London, with flexibility for exceptional talent in other locations.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a partnership environment.
  • Direct knowledge of Property and the built environment from a leading law firm or property consultancy.
  • Evidence of horizon scanning and proactively presenting opportunities to group leadership.
  • Strong written communications experience across directories, awards submissions, social media, and collateral.
  • Team management and mentoring skills.
  • Track record of managing multiple senior stakeholders and enabling growth by supporting partners to win profitable work, deepen relationships, and build brand.
  • Ability to develop internal and external networks and deliver polished presentations.
