Job Summary

Own UK brand operations with full P/L ownership, distribution strategy, and retailer partnerships, while aligning with Brand HQ and the Country Manager to hit the plan.

  • Growth/operational ownership: manage budget, annual plans, and brand reports for the UK market.
  • Distribution and channel leadership: steer distribution policy, tender activity, inventory control, and funding requests with SG policy.
  • People, performance, and partnerships: lead the local team, ensure sales standards, and maintain retailer relationships with service KPIs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day activities and operations of the brand in the UK.
  • Manage budget and P/L of the brand in the market.
  • Develop annual business plans.
  • Prepare and submit the Brand’s management reports.
  • Derive Sales/Marketing and Communication plans with the alignment of the Brand’s marketing concept for the UK.
  • Suggest and execute the distribution policy for the country in line with SG and Brand HQ overall distribution policy and the legal document requirement.
  • Manage relationships with retailers.
  • Responsible for the execution and delivery of payment terms/accounts receivable in line with the SG policy for the UK.
  • Responsible for the purchase from Switzerland and the control of inventory levels (qualitative/quantitative) in line with SG policy for the country.
  • Develop new distribution opportunities including completion of tenders and internal SG documents to acquire appropriate funding within SIS and corporate retail.

Requirements

  • Proven and demonstrable sales management experience for both retail and wholesale, ideally within watches and jewellery.
  • People management experience, able to motivate and manage teams to deliver successful sales and excellent levels of customer service.
  • Innovative individual with strong sales and marketing experience.
  • Strong negotiation and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Economic awareness with a strong business acumen.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, CBR and Power BI, will be of advantage.
