Job Summary

Own the UK comms and brand narrative, aligning internal and external storytelling, ESG and awards, and executive messaging while exploring AI-assisted workflows to improve speed and relevance.

  • Brand & narrative ownership: ensure consistent tone, identity and messaging across groups, campaigns and channels.
  • Content engine: produce websites, newsletters, press releases and case studies with audience-first storytelling.
  • Internal and external comms: connect employees and external stakeholders through campaigns, media activity and reputation management.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supporting brand, communications and storytelling across the group
  • Writing engaging content for websites, newsletters, press releases, case studies and campaigns
  • Delivering internal communications that connect and engage employees
  • Supporting media activity, reputation management and external communications
  • Helping maintain consistent brand identity, tone of voice and messaging
  • Working closely with teams across the business to uncover stories and communication opportunities
  • Supporting campaigns, ESG communications, award submissions and executive messaging
  • Exploring new tools, platforms and AI-supported ways of working

Requirements

  • Degree qualified with demonstratable working experience in communications, PR, journalism or marketing
  • Excellent writing and editing skills across different platforms and audiences
  • Experience across B2B and B2C communications is desirable
  • Strong storytelling ability with a creative and audience-first mindset
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of brand and reputation
  • Confidence working with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Familiarity with CMS, email platforms and AI tools would be an advantage
  • Curious about people, culture and experience across an organisation
  • You must be based in the UK and able to legally live and work in the UK without sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Experience working in regulated, scrutinised or infrastructure sectors
  • Extensive experience within residential, healthcare, education, or retail sectors
  • Experience working within fast-growth, multi-brand, or private-equity backed organisations.
