Job Summary

Own the Students' Union branding, communications and campaigns; lead a creative team to accelerate student engagement and support major student-led initiatives through close collaboration with elected officers.

  • Brand & Campaign Management: Own the union’s brand strategy and high impact campaigns across channels.
  • Content Team Leadership: Build, mentor and scale the creative and digital content function.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Align with officers and staff to deliver strategic goals and major student events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Leading the Students' Union's brand, communications and marketing strategy
  • Managing and developing our creative and digital content team
  • Driving student engagement through innovative campaigns and communications
  • Supporting major projects including Freshers', elections, awards and student-led campaigns
  • Working closely with elected officers and colleagues to bring our strategic goals to life

Requirements

  • 34.5 hours per week
  • Fixed Term, 12 months maternity leave cover
  • Location: University of Leicester Students’ Union, LE1 7RH
  • Hours: 34.5 hours per week
  • Contract Type: Fixed Term, 12 months maternity leave cover
  • Salary: £39,020 per annum
  • Pay: £39,020.00 per year
