Own the day-to-day planning engine for UK accounts, translating briefs into structured campaigns, leading internal and client-facing sessions, and ensuring output quality and timeliness while coaching junior staff.

Job Description

Own the day-to-day planning engine for UK accounts, translating briefs into structured campaigns, leading internal and client-facing sessions, and ensuring output quality and timeliness while coaching junior staff.

  • Campaign Planning: translate briefs into structured UK campaigns, deliver audience and performance insights, and shape client recommendations
  • Team Leadership: line-manage junior staff, coach output quality, and build an accountable, development-focused engine room
  • Delivery & Governance: own budgets, timelines, taxonomies, and ensure compliant, high-quality activations with smooth cross-team collaboration
  • Stakeholder Management: act as a key day-to-day contact for junior and mid-level L’Oréal UK stakeholders
  • Meeting Leadership: lead regular campaign, status and delivery meetings with confidence and clarity
  • Output Quality: ensure client deliverables are accurate, well-structured and delivered on time
  • Collaboration: build strong working relationships with internal activation teams and media partners
  • Planning Support: support the Account Director on campaign and brand planning across L’Oréal UK portfolio
  • Insight & Recommendations: own key sections of planning output including audience, competitor and performance insights
  • Optimization & Learning: apply planning tools, UK market insights and campaign learnings to shape recommendations

Requirements

  • Experience in a planning or comms role within a UK media agency
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with growing client-facing experience
  • Solid understanding of UK media channels and the communications planning process
  • Early people-management experience or readiness to step into line management
  • Curiosity, proactivity and enthusiasm for working on a fast-paced, innovative client
