Job Summary

Own the video analytics stack for social channels and turn performance data into content growth moves across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Growth Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that translate platform data into clear recommendations for content performance and audience retention.
Content Optimization: Identify trends, formats, topics, and publishing strategies that drive engagement and growth across video channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Governance: Partner with video, editorial, social, and audience teams to steer planning and ensure reporting accuracy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Analyze video performance data across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other social video platforms to identify opportunities for audience growth and engagement.
Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers across content formats, topics, and publishing strategies.
Recommend data-informed optimizations to improve content performance, audience retention, and platform growth.
Partner with video, editorial, social, and audience development teams to support strategic decision-making and content planning.
Monitor platform updates, industry developments, and emerging social video trends to inform reporting and recommendations.
Support testing and experimentation initiatives by measuring results and identifying best practices for future content strategies.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting across platforms and analytics tools.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in analytics, digital media, social media performance analysis, or a related field.
Experience analyzing performance across social video platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and uncover meaningful insights.
Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
Experience using analytics platforms such as YouTube Analytics, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, or comparable tools.
Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Passion for digital media, audience behavior, and emerging social video trends.
This role is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule with an expectation of four days per week in the office.

Nice to Have

Experience building dashboards or automated reporting solutions is preferred.
