Job Summary

Own on-site tasting programs that educate, convert, and stay compliant across stores, with ownership of events, prep, customer experience, and post-event reporting.

Tasting Operations: plan, execute, and recap tastings while maintaining Cascade standards.
Customer Education: explain brands, flavor profiles, cocktails, and stories to drive retail sales.

Responsibilities

Conduct liquor store tastings and promotional events within assigned territories.
Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled events.
Set up and break down tasting displays according to Cascade Beverage standards.
Create a welcoming, engaging, and professional customer experience.
Educate customers about Cascade Beverage brands, product features, flavor profiles, cocktail applications, and company story.
Offer samples and product recommendations while driving retail sales.
Maintain accurate knowledge of products being sampled.
Verify valid identification and comply with all OLCC and state alcohol service regulations.
Serve alcohol responsibly and refuse service when required by law or company policy.
Maintain professional relationships with store employees, managers, and customers.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license required.
Reliable transportation required.
Must possess or be able to obtain all required state alcohol service permits and certifications.
Ability to stand for up to 4 consecutive hours.
Ability to regularly lift, carry, and transport up to 50 pounds.
Ability to load and unload event materials, display items, and product inventory.
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry materials up to 100 feet.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year of experience in promotions, sales, customer service, hospitality, or beverage industry preferred.

Preferred

Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador, Product Demonstrator, Sampler, or Promotional Representative.
Experience in spirits, wine, beer, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service.
Knowledge of craft spirits, cocktails, wine, or beverage industry trends.
Experience working independently in customer-facing roles.
