Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a high-volume short-form video calendar (5–7+ posts/week across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
Shoot vertical video content on-location at cabins, guest experiences, and owner testimonials
Edit videos with trending audio, captions, text overlays, effects, and strong CTAs linking to booking and inquiry forms
Optimize posts with Smokies-specific hashtags, geotags, and SEO-friendly captions
Analyze performance metrics and refine strategies for better ROI
Support integrated digital efforts: assist with paid social ads, website updates, and email campaigns
Engage with the community: monitor comments/DMs and run local promotions
Report weekly on KPIs: follower growth, engagement, traffic, and owner leads

Requirements

Proven track record creating short-form videos with strong engagement or viral potential
Hands-on video shooting and editing experience (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Rush/Pro, or similar)
Deep familiarity with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices for travel/hospitality content
Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics) and link tracking
Passion for the Smoky Mountains with local knowledge for authentic content
Experience or understanding of the vacation rental industry (Airbnb, Vrbo, direct bookings) preferred
Self-motivated with strong organization to meet posting deadlines
Must live in or relocate to the Sevierville/Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area
