You’re applying because you want to develop and lead the implementation of the PTAA’s marketing strategy. You’ll develop and execute long-term marketing strategies that promote PTAA services, improve member retention, and support recruitment.
You see the big picture. You know how to direct communication campaigns that advance PTAA’s priorities, anticipate issues, respond to opportunities, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and manage deadlines.
Engaging on multiple social media accounts? Piece of cake. You know them all, including Facebook, Facebook Ads, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
Your mastery of language hooks people in. You work with other PTAA staff on the language that you will incorporate into PTAA marketing and communications materials.
Solo work is great, but being part of a team is even better. You’re ready to work alongside your PTAA colleagues as you lead the development and execution of public relations/media relations activities to elevate positive public awareness of the multifamily housing industry.
You provide strategic communications and media relations counsel, writing, and presentation support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and other association leaders.
You’re excited to work with the rest of the PTAA team to grow the membership of the association and actively engaged members.
Administrative duties include answering member inquiries via telephone, website, and email.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Originally organized by apartment owners and operators, today PTAA constituencies also include Vendor Partners, residents, and the community-at-large.
