Job Summary

Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy across product lines, from acquisition to win-back, while building data pipelines, messaging, and compliant automated journeys.

Build and maintain Braze workflows, Segment data pipelines, and personalized messaging at scale.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Own the complete lifecycle marketing strategy, including acquisition follow-up, application recovery, onboarding, activation, retention, and win-back initiatives across all product offerings.
Create and manage lifecycle messaging, drafting copy with AI tools, and collaborating with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure messaging standards are met for a regulated fintech audience.
Partner with Product teams to establish clear ownership boundaries between in-product communications and lifecycle channels such as email and SMS, ensuring cohesive customer experiences.
Design, build, and maintain event-based triggers, data architecture, and automation workflows within Braze and related platforms.
Develop and maintain the Segment-to-Braze data pipeline, ensuring accurate identity resolution and reliable event tracking for personalized messaging.
Define KPIs, develop reporting frameworks, and measure lifecycle marketing performance, linking efforts directly to business outcomes like conversions, retention, and revenue.
Prioritize infrastructure development and campaign initiatives based on impact and stage of growth, acting with judgment and strategic foresight.
Ensure all communications comply with industry regulations and disclosure requirements.
Act as the internal expert on lifecycle marketing systems, briefing stakeholders and advocating for best practices across teams.

Requirements

6-8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing within fintech, financial services, or regulated industries.
Deep hands-on expertise with Braze or similar platforms such as Iterable or Customer.io, including building Canvases, workflows, and dynamic content.
Strong proficiency with Segment or comparable CDPs, including experience with identity resolution, event tracking, and designing data pipelines.
Proven ability to partner effectively with Engineering and Data teams to develop event-based systems and automated customer journeys.
Strategic thinker with experience defining and executing lifecycle or retention strategies and roadmaps.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, build reports, and leverage data to inform prioritization.
Comfort working in ambiguous environments and building infrastructure from scratch.
Exceptional writing skills, with experience using AI tools for rapid messaging development and navigating legal and compliance reviews in regulated environments.

Preferred

Bonus: B2B experience, familiarity with BigQuery, dbt, or related data warehouse tools.
