Job Summary
Own WeightWatchers\' consumer PR and brand storytelling, turning strategy into culturally relevant narratives that travel through media, partnerships, and brand moments.
- Own cross-channel storytelling and cultural moments to translate brand strategy into compelling consumer narratives.
- Drive consumer PR programs and media outreach to raise awareness and engagement.
- Partner with marketing, partnerships, and talent teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across campaigns and launches.
Job Description
- Brand storytelling: Consumer storytelling across media and public channels
- Brand narrative amplification: Across consumer press, lifestyle outlets, emerging media, and cultural platforms
- Translate brand strategy into opportunities: Turn campaigns and partnerships into impactful consumer narratives
- Consumer PR strategy: Drive awareness and engagement through strategic programs
- Media outreach and press opportunities: Manage story development and journalist relationships
- Cultural moments: Identify opportunities to position the brand within wellness, health, and lifestyle conversations
- Brand messaging: Connect the brand to consumers in a clear, compelling, culturally relevant way
- Consistency across moments: Maintain narrative coherence across media, partnerships, and brand moments
- 8+ years in public relations or brand storytelling
- Strong consumer PR background in lifestyle media
- Proven ability to generate impactful coverage and culturally relevant storytelling
- Exceptional verbal, writing, and storytelling skills
- Experience partnering with marketing, brand, partnerships, and social teams
- Strong organizational and multi-priority project management
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution and attention to detail
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
