Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead media relations, PR strategy, and storytelling initiatives
- Serve as the museum’s primary media contact and spokesperson, shaping how our story is told locally and nationally while advising senior leadership on messaging and reputational strategy
- Build strong relationships with media and community partners
- Lead crisis communications and support high-profile initiatives
- Oversee media events and external engagement opportunities
Requirements
- 7+ years in media relations, public relations, or communications
- Proven success developing communications strategies and securing media coverage
- Strong writing, storytelling, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with senior leaders and managing high-visibility communications
