Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
May be responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department by providing recommendations; supports compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager/director.
Enhance guest interactions by providing a friendly greeting, offering directions, answering questions, making announcements, and creating an upbeat and positive atmosphere.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
Responsible for overseeing all marketing support services to include advertising, public relations, and internal department requests.
Responsible for drafting press releases and media correspondence in relation to marketing programs or property advertising.
Conduct pre-and post-campaign analysis using pro formas and post formas to evaluate promotional performance, identify trends, measure ROI, and provide recommendations for future promotional calendar planning.
Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
Responsible for the planning, creation, and execution of property promotions; to include slot tournaments, brand promotions and VIP events.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in marketing, finance or related field; experience in multiple communication channels including direct mail, e-mail and social media required.
Must have experience with social media best practices.
Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.

Preferred

Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
