Content Creation & Storytelling - Capture original photo and video content throughout Chicago - Create engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms - Edit videos using mobile-first editing tools, with CapCut preferred - Develop visually compelling content aligned with brand objectives and current social trends
Event & Live Coverage - Support live coverage of events, activations, and community experiences - Capture real-time content and quickly publish social updates - Help showcase unique experiences, attractions, and citywide initiatives
Social Media Management - Write engaging social media captions and platform-specific copy - Assist with community management across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn - Monitor messages, comments, and audience engagement - Support giveaways, creator partnerships, and influencer outreach efforts
Channel Growth & Innovation - Help expand the brand's presence across social platforms - Contribute ideas for new content formats and audience engagement tactics - Assist with the rollout of new social tools and features - Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices

Requirements

Experience creating content for social media brands, organizations, agencies, or personal channels
Strong mobile photography and videography skills
