Job Summary
Own and execute FAU Libraries marketing and events support, from social media content creation and design to event coordination and on-site outreach, collaborating with External Relations and campus partners.

Responsibilities
- Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and create content for Florida Atlantic Libraries social media platforms.
- Develop engaging posts, reels, and stories to highlight events, student life, and library services.
- Use Canva and other tools to design graphics, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral and brainstorming strategies for campaigns.
- Track performance metrics and suggest improvements for engagement.
- Event Coordination & Support
- Assist with event setup, takedown, and day-of operations.
- Support the flow of events to ensure smooth execution and a positive experience for attendees.
- Help manage swag inventory and distribute giveaways at events.
Requirements
- FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA.
- Student Assistants fall under the non-exempt, hourly pay rate type.
