Job Summary

Own editorial delivery for prospective student content with clear ownership of copy quality, cross-team liaison, and an updated degree finder in partnership with a small content design team.

  • Edit copy to style guide and quality standards.
  • Coordinate editorial decisions across schools, colleges and support units.
  • Help deliver the updated degree finder and central site provision for future applicants.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Edit copy to a high degree of accuracy and consistency, following an editorial style guide.
  • Liaise between team members and colleagues in schools, colleges and support units on editorial decisions.
  • Contribute to an editorial and liaison process to deliver an updated online degree finder for future applicants.
  • Join a small team of content designers within the Prospective Student Web Content Team and manage central website provision for prospective students.

Requirements

  • Part time: 15 hours per week
  • Fixed term: 5 months (mid-July to December 2026)
  • Availability to work part-time 15 hours per week with potential hybrid working (non-contractual)
  • Ability to edit copy to a high degree of accuracy and consistency, following an editorial style guide
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, liaising between team members and colleagues in schools, colleges and support units on editorial decisions
  • Be well organized and self-motivated, able to plan your own work within a daily routine and hit assigned deadlines
