Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver purposeful and informative written and visual content (including photographs, video, digital, infographics and animation) for BTP’s digital and social media platforms.
• Support the planning and implementation of multi-platform, integrated Forcewide communications campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness to inform future activity.
• Horizon scan to ensure continuous improvement of BTP’s content, drive innovation and adopt best practices to expand audience reach and engagement.
• Be a trusted Advisor to Senior Managers and the wider Force on how best to use content creation to achieve a desired outcome.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role, involving creating digital content for social media channels, digital animation and graphic design, photography and videography.
• Substantial experience and skilled in using the following software: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and Acrobat as well as AI software to assist in content creation.
• Excellent photography and photo editing skills
• Excellent video production and digital animation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the confidence to advise Senior Management and the wider Force and Authority, as well as the ability to confidently challenge and influence decisions when in BTP’s best interests.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver high-quality content to tight deadlines, whilst handling multiple priorities.
