Job Summary

Own end-to-end video productions from concept to final cut, shaping storytelling across campaigns and platforms while making autonomous, creative decisions.

  • Own planning, shooting, editing, and post-production for multi-format content.
  • Lead concepting and execution of campaigns for LinkedIn, YouTube, and training platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to turn briefs into engaging videos.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Planning, filming and editing high-quality video content from start to finish.
  • Shooting confidently using DSLR/mirrorless and professional cinema camera systems.
  • Creating more spontaneous, dynamic content using iPhone and Android smartphones.
  • Producing content specifically designed for LinkedIn, YouTube and our training video platform.
  • Working with the marketing team to turn campaign ideas and briefs into engaging video concepts.
  • Taking ownership of productions including planning shots, lighting, audio, filming and post-production.
  • Editing short-form and long-form video content using professional editing software.
  • Colour correcting and grading footage to produce a consistent, professional finish.
  • Creating simple motion graphics, titles and visual effects where appropriate.
  • Repurposing longer productions into short-form clips and social content.

Requirements

  • Technical ability is important, but we're equally interested in your creative instincts and attitude.
  • You'll need to be someone who can work autonomously. You won't have another videographer sitting alongside you telling you which lens to use, how to light an interview or how to structure an edit.
  • We therefore want someone who is comfortable making those decisions and taking responsibility for the finished product.
  • You'll be part of a collaborative marketing team, working with colleagues across content, campaigns, digital and events.
  • Creative and full of ideas.
  • Technically confident behind a camera.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects.
  • Organised enough to manage several productions simultaneously.
  • Confident working with people who aren't accustomed to being on camera.
  • Able to turn relatively loose briefs into strong creative concepts.

Preferred

  • Adobe After Effects.
  • Colour correction and basic colour grading.
  • Drone filming.
  • Live events and webinars.
  • Motion graphics and animation.
  • Blackmagic camera systems.
  • ARRI camera systems.
  • Multi-camera productions.
  • Photography.
  • Podcast/video podcast production.
