Job Description

Overview of the Role:

We are looking to recruit a Video Producer to join the RHS Video Team. They will support with the creation of content for the RHS YouTube channel as well as servicing requests made from various departments within the organisation. This would include fundraising, communities and education.

Accountabilities:

  • Film and edit video content for the RHS YouTube Channel as well as in-house departmental requests that are of a high standard for various uses across the organisation
  • Responsible for all aspects and stages of video projects assigned by the Lead Video Manager including pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Collaborate directly with colleagues across the business to develop new and inspiring content that responds to the varying work of the Charity.
  • Be responsible for the signing and storing of contracts, licenses and permissions as required for all video projects, ensuring legal accuracy and protecting future use.
  • Be required to regularly travel to different locations including our shows, gardens and any other required sites to plan and deliver engaging horticultural/gardening stories from across the RHS.
  • Ensure video content is held within the video team’s server and clips are uploaded to the Society’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) System with metadata and all associated documentation accurately applied according to agreed standards to ensure ease of accessing, sharing and proper usage in relation to agreed rights.
  • To adhere to current Health & Safety legislation and best practice in accordance with the Society’s Health and Safety Policy Statement.
  • To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required of you in the role.
