Job Summary

EMEA event lead builds and oversees a cross-functional, multi-format program that ties business priorities to high-profile Wealth events and post-event learning.

  • Event strategy and governance: shape from concept to post-event evaluation across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
  • Executive partnership: advise senior leaders, align on priorities, and coordinate with Investment, Global Wealth, Marketing, Compliance and IT.
  • Delivery leadership: manage timelines, communications, budgets, vendors, and post-event reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the Global Wealth events program across EMEA, aligning event initiatives with business objectives and commercial priorities
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent high-profile internal and external events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
  • Serve as a senior advisor to business leaders and stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, execution leadership, and best practices across all phases of event planning and delivery
  • Drive event strategy, stakeholder alignment, governance, timelines, communications, and measurement frameworks from concept through post-event evaluation
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders across investment teams, Global Wealth, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Operations, IT and Facilities, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with firm priorities
  • Own financial oversight for assigned events, including budget development, vendor procurement, contract negotiation, expense management, reconcilliation and post-event reporting
  • Ensure all events comply with applicable regulatory, compliance, and firm governance requirements in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams
  • Act as a steward of the KKR brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all event touchpoints
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and evolving client expectations
  • Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to the continued development of the broader EMEA Events platform

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading complex, high-profile events within a corporate, financial services, private markets, or professional services environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience operating as a strategic partner to senior executives and stakeholders within a fast-paced, matrixed global organisation
  • Proven expertise delivering sophisticated in-person, virtual, and hybrid conferences, investor events, leadership meetings, and experiential programs
  • Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen, including ownership of large-scale budgets and vendor negotiations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong judgement, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to operate effectively under pressure
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive initiatives forward with limited oversight
