Lead Communications: translate strategy into concrete actions across events, media, and community outreach.
Community Impact: amplify heritage education and local engagement through targeted storytelling and channels.

Responsibilities

The role of the Trustee Lead for Marketing and Communications is to support the Board in its efforts to communicate to all stakeholders the visions, mission and purpose of the organisation.
As well as being a member of the Board, you will chair the Communications subgroup.
This role is essential to help promote our extensive programme of events and activities at the windmill.
Our social media activity also promotes the heritage of this historic building, supporting the educational dimension of our mission.
Active engagement, particularly with the local community around the windmill, is central to the vision, mission and purpose of the organisation.

Requirements

Proven experience or background in marketing and communications
Ability to take the lead on strategy and convey this to relevant parties
Hybrid work arrangement (London, England)
