Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement production-quality technical demonstrations for service launches, events, sales enablement, and experiential activations across AWS services.
  • Develop high-quality code artifacts including demos, sample code, and starter projects.
  • Support responses to critical analyst evaluations such as Gartner Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave assessments.
  • Contribute to demo standards and best practices, collaborating with team members to maintain bar-raising quality in project structure, coding, and testing.
  • Partner with field teams, GTM teams, service teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand use cases and develop demonstration solutions.
  • Share knowledge through internal forums, AWS blogs, and reference architectures; contribute to enablement materials that help teams integrate AWS solutions into customer architectures.
  • Act as the in-region champion for global demo content, building relationships with local SA teams and event organizers, running enablement sessions, and making it easy for field teams to find and use the right content for customer engagements.
  • Connect regional event teams (Summits, third-party conferences) with the highest-quality technical marketing materials available.
  • Establish and maintain a structured feedback loop between the field and the core team, collecting signal on which demos resonate regionally, identifying content gaps, and routing localization needs back to PMM partners.
  • Participate in team planning and roadmap discussions, contributing regional perspective to content development priorities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
