Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, including planning, filming and editing short-form videos and capturing photo and video content across the venues.
• Be confident in front of the camera, appearing in TikToks, Reels, Stories and other content while bringing energy and personality to videos.
• Create high-quality, on-brand graphics for social media, including posts, Stories, event promotions and other marketing materials using Canva or similar design tools.
• Develop creative content ideas and help turn current social media trends, sounds and formats into content that works for each individual venue.
• Support the wider social media activity by assisting with content planning, keeping up to date with platform trends and bringing fresh ideas to the Social Media & Marketing Manager.

Requirements

• Confident, outgoing and comfortable in front of the camera, with the personality to engage an audience naturally.
• Creative and confident with graphic design, with a good eye for aesthetics, branding and visual content and experience using Canva or similar.
• Have a genuine interest in social media and content creation, with an understanding of current trends and what makes content engaging.
• Proactive, organised and willing to get involved, learn new skills and bring your own ideas to the role.
• Previous professional experience isn’t essential, but examples of your own content, graphic design work or a portfolio are a bonus.
