Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, delivery and optimisation of targeted marketing campaigns that generate leads and raise awareness of GM Business Growth Hub services. Key focus on Innovation.
  • Create engaging digital and offline marketing content, including email campaigns, newsletters, website content, social media activity, and promotional materials for a range of audiences.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on marketing performance, using data and insights to improve campaign effectiveness, client engagement, and return on investment.
  • Build and manage relationships with partners, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders, ensuring marketing activities are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Support website management, CRM utilisation, and marketing administration, ensuring online content remains accurate, up to date and aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop communications, case studies and campaigns that strengthen brand awareness and encourage cross-organisational engagement.
  • Assist with event promotion and lead generation activities, tracking outcomes and supporting the continuous improvement of marketing activity.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market developments and emerging opportunities to expand reach and strengthen marketing impact.

Requirements

  • You have relevant experience working in a marketing role within either the public or private sector.
  • You are an excellent communicator who can confidently engage with stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels.
  • You are highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • You take a proactive and solution-focused approach, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • You are passionate about supporting business growth, innovation, and economic development across Greater Manchester.
  • You are results-driven, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with experience producing compelling marketing materials across multiple channels.
  • Experience managing digital marketing platforms, including CMS, email marketing systems, social media scheduling tools and Google Analytics.
  • Good understanding of marketing planning, SEO and PPC, with the ability to support campaign development and optimisation.
