Job Summary

Own brand systems and design execution for Bitrise across channels, elevating identity from guidelines to scalable, production-ready assets.

  • Brand governance: define guidelines, standard components, and templates that scale with the company.
  • Design execution: create assets for paid, web, social, emails, events and sales collateral in collaboration with Content & Comms and Demand Gen.
  • Agency & vendor management: liaise with external partners, brief effectively, and curate a freelancers roster for specialist needs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Brand Ownership & Evolution: own the guidelines, ensure consistent application across every customer-facing touchpoint, and protect the brand from drift. Lead the ongoing evolution of the Bitrise visual identity in partnership with marketing leadership, ensuring the brand stays distinctive, modern and fit-for-purpose as the company grows. Define and document design standards, components and templates that scale across the team and external partners.
  • Marketing Design Execution: Lead design across paid ads, landing pages, website imagery, social, email, sales enablement, event collateral and campaign assets (and more!). Partner with the Content & Comms team to bring stories and campaigns to life visually. Partner with Demand Generation to design high-performing assets for paid and lifecycle programs. Partner with Product Marketing on launch assets, product imagery, and sales decks.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Act as the primary conduit to our external design agency: scope work, write briefs, manage timelines, review output and hold quality. Identify when work should be done in-house vs outsourced based on capacity, complexity and brand sensitivity. Build a roster of trusted freelancers for specialist needs (motion, illustration, etc.).
  • Cross-functional Partnership: Partner with the wider marketing, content, video and production teams to ensure design is integrated into campaign planning from the start, not bolted on at the end. Be the design voice in marketing planning conversations, flagging where design can elevate an idea, and where it can’t save a weak one. Support internal stakeholders (Sales, CS, People) with branded assets as needed, within agreed prioritisation.
  • Quality & Standards: Set and uphold the quality bar for all design output, whether produced in-house or via agency. Provide constructive critique and feedback to other designers, contractors and stakeholders. Continuously improve how design work flows through the marketing team (briefs, reviews, approvals).

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in brand and marketing design, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer-focused tech.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong brand systems thinking, not just executional polish.
  • Proven track record owning a brand end-to-end: guidelines, evolution, governance, and application across multiple channels.
  • Deep craft in visual design across digital advertising, web, social, events and sales collateral.
  • Experience working with, and briefing external agencies and freelancers, holding them to a quality bar.
  • Comfortable being the most senior designer in the room: setting direction, giving feedback, defending decisions, and partnering with marketing leadership.
  • Understanding of Content Design and UX best practices.
  • Strong communicator who can articulate design rationale to non-designers and translate vague briefs into clear visual outcomes.
  • Familiar with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern web design workflows (Webflow a plus).
  • Self-directed and outcome-oriented; prioritise across competing demands without constant steering.
  • Collaborative team member; open to feedback.

Preferred

  • Experience designing for technical / developer audiences.
  • Motion design, illustration, or light video editing skills.
  • Experience evolving a brand identity (not just maintaining one).
  • Familiarity with mobile development, DevOps, or CI/CD ecosystems.
  • Experience working closely with content and demand gen teams on integrated campaigns.

Benefits

  • The opportunity to learn about app development by playing a crucial role in the mobile development process for the world’s most successful companies.
  • The opportunity to build a global brand from Hungary to the US and beyond.
  • The security of working in a financially stable, growing company with an ever-expanding global customer base.
  • A remote working environment with opportunities for in-person collaboration.
  • A global customer portfolio to manage.
  • A competitive stock options package.
